I like the application. But a second order ode is shown on screen, but then it is not really used anymore… This makes the video too handwaivy for my taste.

The diagram/depiction of the swaying building with the color coded location of seismometers is a useful tool for demonstrating this concept.

The PDEs modelling the system were presented at an interesting level of detail---probably too terse for a newcomer, but too verbose for someone who’s seen this sort of thing before.

A couple places could have been clearer which frequency is being referred to---the natural resonance of the building or the input signal from the nearby fault lines. I think the labels on the axes should also have been clearer in this regard.

Though I would have enjoyed something a little more “mathy”, this was a cool and useful application. Everything was presented clearly, and I loved the visuals!

Good video, thanks! It was not very clear to me which function of time one chooses for the ground acceleration.
