While not novel (nor do I think it intends to be), you have a very clear means of displaying this fundamental topic. Reaching the end, I can see you’re following the structure of a book. This is clear to me in retrospect with how naturally the information is ordered. Your graphical representations do a lot to help the viewer, and you do a good job making sure the viewer learns each term as you describe it. This is fantastic practice for you, the author, in firming up your understanding of the topic, and I can imagine this script being used if you were to give this as an introductory lecture, but I do feel that the topic isn’t quite novel or memorable enough to rate very highly. Still, great work and I hope you continue making videos.

good graphics but you didn’t introduce your problem and what the purpose is in the video. start with mystery. Also at 4:00 there is a typo. there should be an ‘i’ under the sum, not a subscript. You explained some key formulas of linear algebra very well :)

Good job! The visuals and exposition are very nice. I liked the brief parts with 3d animation where you gave some practical applications. You could do more of these.

My suggestions:

  • add some silent background music
  • given that is a very introductory type of video, I think a lot of the people for which it could be useful will be hearing these stuff for the first time and there is a big chance they are very averse to heavy notation and scary sounding words like associativity, commutativity etc. I think some may decide to leave at the part when you first introduce the algebraic properties as you suddenly blast them with a screen of unknown words and equations.
  • towards the end things start to get more rushed, for example you didn’t really explain what is a normal vector. Perhaps the representation of lines and planes could have been a separate video where you can go in more detail.

The video itself was structured nicely. The polar presentation showed i,j format using polar variables, but didn’t adventure to show how the variables r,theta could also describe the system. This series seems a little bold to introduce adding/subtracting vectors to extend all the way to MVC, but interesting path, nonetheless.
