Nice concept - The video was interesting and I enjoyed watching it Really nice layout as well The diagrams were engaging and it was easy to follow what was happening

To improve: Lack of coherent structure - It didn’t feel like there was much of a story\ sufficient motivation for the problem I think the differentiation was too fast - it may have been helpful to have everything on the screen at once to make it easier to follow

Nicely done, though I wish the calculations appeared at the same time as the figures; this can be a little hard to follow unless one is taking notes.

The overall structure of the ideas is good (from simplest to most complex), but the pacing could be improved. Sometimes, the visuals could be tuned for better pacing (since giving enough time to read unfolding text as in manim makes the overall information transfer actually slower than hearing a voiceover).

I liked this video, especially that it starts by asking a relatively simple set of questions and answers it from there with great animations.

I’m not sure that students would understand geometry or calculus better after watching this video, however. I am unclear at the end of the video how it supports your claim that differentiation can just be geometry… what exactly do you mean?

There were a lot of places where the animation really helped the clarity of the video and the style was great (animating text to narrate, with nice lofi music in the background, and pretty images of cubes, cuboids, and nets). However, I don’t think I would show this in class (at least in its entirety—maybe the first part) besides maybe as a way of showing the usefulness of minimization using calculus or something? I am having trouble seeing the usage besides being something pretty cool (which is great too, just maybe not for this specific competiton of helping students).

The choice to write instead of speaking is divisive: some students would not be able to follow you. Moreover, the music seems more like a distraction than a support to the visuals. There are also AI-generated voices, but I’m sure your own voice would be perfect. Don’t give up :)

Great visualisation but using “mosquito” and “ant” can seem unclear, and some of the calculations are fairly rushed and unmotivated
