A search of the dark and mysterious corners of the magic square for nine hidden square integers. In this journey we will explore right triangles, the source of triads of square integers, and magic squares, two dimensional structures where every row, column, and diagonal sum to the magic constant. And, we will learn where they get along and where they conflict.

This paper is written in academic language which already assumes that the reader has a knowledge of the subject. It does not include any questions.

The motivation is totally unclear from the start as to why anyone would be interested in non perfect squares and what generalising something that doesn’t work even means

There are large amounts numbers shown which confuse the reader. Lots of unclear terminology. Confusing use of Pythagoras with no clear explanation.

Although magic squares are an interesting topic for non mathematicians, this paper will not inspire interest in anyone without a knowledge of the subject.

Interesting research - to me, the article seems focused on presenting results rather than teaching the user.

Defining what conditions need to be satisfied to have a magic square in the introduction would make this document more accessible.
