This was fun exposition to read because of how you comprehensively broke down the operations of what makes a derivative and an anti-derivative and played with it. To be honest, I’ll need to read this a few more times to also be able to play with what you’ve made. After reading through this document some few passes, does then that mean this calculus you’ve defined reside best on a non-cartesian plane? Overeall, neat work, I hope you decide to try and create an animation of what happens when we introduce “OR” (via Def 1.4). The approach of the writer is just marvellous. Though it’s not an intro to calculus, this is an excellent article for someone who knows the basic definition of calculus. This is also really really good for someone who wants to learn to play with mathematics and to really understand how mathematics should be learnt. 👍

it’s a looooooooong read. effort went in for sure. but this is allmost a full afternoon activity.

It was interesting to see how anyone can rediscover maths, and also the paths that were taken to reach to conclusions. It was enjoyable to see the generalisation and the thought put into it.
