Iterations part 1: modelling a population of butterflies
Iteration means repeated application of a function. Iterating a function known as the "logistic map" gives a simple model to simulate population dynamics. In this video we introduce some key concepts and lay the groundwork for part 2, in which we take a deeper dive into one aspect of chaotic dynamics.

This seems to be a standard video on dynamical systems. It has good animation and graphics, but is lacking in other departments. The explanation is rather bland and does not give me enough motivation for the problem.

Nice visualization of a well-known topic.

very clear. I do not like the chose of the example. I tis a bit misleading.

10mins is a great length for this content, concise, clear and illuminating. i had not come across cobweb diagrams before so thank you for that. easily rewatchable to catch more of the details but memorable from the first

I liked the main animation of the cobweb diagram. It would have been nice to see how the cobweb diagram could lead to the bifurcation diagram or at least have an explanation of how it's generated. I'm curious about what aspect of chaos dynamics comes in part two.

Beautiful explanation of logistic map!

This is very well-done. I liked this. It was very clear.

Code shows not found error in notebook.
I'm not sure this really explains population sizes? a bit confusing but cool.
