The Math of Losing Weight
Audience:
Losing weight may seem like a task that requires an enormous amount of effort, but with a bit of basic math and a touch of linear optimization, it will feel like child’s play.

The introductory 3 paragraphs sound incredibly AI-y. They might not have been written with AI, but the prose quality is really bad, and Pangram thinks it’s AI. The rest of the article is a lot better, and I can see its utility, but the start really turned me off.
Creative while teaching math, good work!
The interactive demos were fun, though the free and dependent variables were unclear. I liked the false ending with animation, that was unique. Great theme to motivate linear programming
Fine overall, but a bit much for such a simple conclusion at the end. Also, it’s not ideal to start a text about dieting by mentioning GLP-1, normalising drug use. And of course the heavy use of genAI.
I really like the concept of interactive elements like sliders in your blog post to keep the readers engaged. I still think you could expound on the concepts a bit more though, but overall it was great.
13 kcal, baby!!!!
Quite a nice and fun litttle read. Good problem that leads into a nice application of linear programming. I liked the tone and humour of the article which caught my attention. I think more focus can be applied on the linear programming in terms of why we set the equations in a certain way, and how those constraints get visualized and optimized.
Great humor, interactive, educational and memorable. Had fun reading through. No criticism :D
A funny reading. Math explainer part should be a little bit more strong.
It was fun reading this one. The story, equations, graphs and jokes were on point and real fun to interact.
