What is FMCW radar and why is it useful?
This video gives an intro to FMCW (frequency modulated continuous wave) radar and gives a little insight into why you might want to use it over a traditional pulsed radar.

It would be useful to explain why a higher power is desirable, but this video was very high-quality.

Really great graphics, wonderful explanation, really easy to follow.
Great job!
I also like that they informed the viewer that there is more to it than what is mentioned in the video. That encourages people to look follow up on what they just learned. Just great!
Thank you!

I don't know is it mistake or what. Why f_beat is "diagonal" instead of vertical segment. Even vertical axis on the plot labelled as f.
Also, nothing mentioned why whole chirp period can't take during round trip time.

Would benefit from more detail to make it clearer what's going on.

Very clear exposition--the explanation of pros and cons of continuous wave radar immediately led me to expect frequency modulations as the solution, even though I'd already forgotten those words from the introduction. My only small knock is that the motivation about the practicalities of small radars, while perfectly sensible for a channel about radar engineering, is pretty far removed from a pure mathematician viewer like myself.

Why is the average power of the pulse important why is not just the power of the pulse?
You say at 2:24 that we can't detect the range of targets as if we all know that but you only explain why afterwards.
The main problems with the video I think are that some things aren't properly explained and the structure of explaining the problems and the solutions to those problems.
