Good use of Manim overall and pretty clear explanation.
Beautiful animations, music and math!
I thought it was explained very clearly and concisely, which would help someone understand easily (if they didn’t already know about Monte Carlo integration).
In addition to the verbal explanation, the equations were also clear and easy to follow.
For improvements, I would have liked to see something new or unexpected - a unique viewpoint to give additional insight or to help excite the viewer. As it is, I thought it was a rather dry textbook style
Yery nice visual representaion of the topics.I would say this is what a good math explainer video should look like,It motivates the topic well amd has very clear explanations.
The use of Manim is impressive, but the video doesn’t have much special other than that. Robotic voice make me uninterested in watching a video, and this video just feels like a presentation that demonstrates the creator’s comprehension of the subject rather than helping others comprehend the subject. With that being said, I think the creator could collaborate with a presenter who feels bogged down by animating a video and can work with them to create a great video.
I wonder how this process would work for a smooth, but asymmetric shape.
Interesting topic. The calculation of pi is quite known and shown in many videos so no much novelty there. The video feels a bit like a dry theoretical lecture, not that is a bad thing but you risk loosing viewers’ interest. I would recommend going from a specific example to the more general case, this allows capturing the viewer’s attention while guiding them through an discovery experience.
