Your visuals are very engaging. One suggestion I have is to share the motivations for the steps in the video, like why we are starting by getting familiar with different bases.
The continual reveal of smaller new results along the way while building up to the final factorial base problem. Was much easier to get small nuggets of knowledge along the way than wait the entire video for a single big reveal
The hook of the video is the irregular bases, not Pascal’s triangle. You should start by talking about bases and saying “did you know there’s a fibonacci base, etc.”? Putting “different bases” in the title undersells what’s interesting about this video.
I think you should have taken the time to cut out the flubs in iMovie. (I recognize the orange dot.) If you write a script—I’m not sure if you did—you can repeat the sentence from the beginning when you make a mistake.
You mention in the video that you don’t think you’re a very good teacher. Next time you make a video or give a big presentation at work or something, practice what you will say as many times as possible in front of as many people as possible. Find friends or colleagues you trust to ask good questions and point out issues.
The topic is fun, but not quite sure what’s the motivation behind this topic. Also the quality is not particularly outstanding compared to the other SOME4 videos.
Nice topic, but there isn’t much to learn here as the math covered is very basic
