Summer of Math Exposition

This strikes me as a fine video for a course on this topic, and I agree that history of thought is valuable, I just think that this entry does not generally align with the spirit of this contest: motivation is left unsaid, required concepts are unacknowledged, and novelty and memorability are not really there.

There is good info in this video, but it is essentially reading a book aloud. It doesn't add motivation or use any capabilities of the video format to better explain the concepts.

I think you could have chosen a more interesting part of Euclid's Elements as your SOME entry. The only thing I learned was that his notation was poor in this area.

Overall, it's a pretty good entry. There's just three points I'd leave for feedback: - I'd redefine the terms commensurable at the beginning as a recap since most of the video deals with the idea. - While it's definitely a symptom of Book 10, and there isn't too much fault to be had, I would recommend spicing up the animation a bit since having just the two tables here is a bit boring. You have a random 2 above the screen at about 3:40 and beyond. There isn't an explanation given as to why this 2 is here. However, overall, this is a good math video since it is a clean and easy to digest version of Euclid's elements. Cheers.

This video doesn't stand on its own. You've got lots of interesting videos on your channel, and I see how this fits into that progression. But without that context, this is just a list of categories for numbers that we've since classified better.
