I know it’s difficult to judge short form content like YouTube shorts. But I’ll try.
First of all, as a beginner, I would have loved to see/hear an explanation of all the parts of the equation(s) used in this video. The video doesn’t teach me anything if these simple terms haven’t been explained.
I also don’t know why I should know or care about this equation after watching the video. It just seems random as someone who’s not specialized in this type of math. There’s no context to it. If there was at least some examples that highlight why this is important to know I had more motivation to want to know more about it.
The explanation, although subjectively fast and without enough pauses, seems pretty clear. But because there hasn’t been enough exposition, I don’t feel like I’ve learned anything.

It is not clear to me, why the question is relevant or interesting in the first place. The restructuring of the formulas also is way to fast and I couldn’t follow the steps without pausing
Ohh… umm Euler is pronounced “OY-ler”, not “YOU-ler” I’m also surprised by your pronunciation of “cosine” but that’s less of a problem. A quick mention of sinh would be a great addition.
A nice little fact, not earth-shattering, but neatly animated. The steps go by a little quick for my liking (even in a short you could have slowed down a bit), and the pronunciarion of “cosine” in what I assume to be an AI voice did kind of throw me off.
First of all, I would recommend you change the tags of the submission because I don’t think this fits into middle or high school. The short is fine. I think the interesting part is that the viewer doesn’t necessarily expect that the complex (well, in this case even the imaginary) numbers are closed under the application of sine, and I think that you could have built up to this at the start, e.g. asking the viewer whether they would expect it to be complex, real or not to work, which might have improved memorability. The visualisations are executed well and snappy. I believe giving a moment to think would have helped clarity, e.g. when you had eliminated all unknown terms. In the current form, I don’t think the viewer can transfer the solution strategy to other, similar problems.
