Summer of Math Exposition

This was quite the unique submission. I actually found that I, unexpectedly, learned a lot. The biggest challenge for me was that this video had quite a bit of information and was fairly lengthy. Adding chapters would have made it a bit easier to jump around and learn about these topics. I could imagine chopping this video up into a few separate videos and having the group of videos perform really well. Great job.

Low rating only because I don't know whether these kinds of videos discussing the etymology and not mathematics itself is in the spirit of the whole thing. Otherwise, that is thoroughly researched video, though it will help to make a more structured slide in the beginning what symbols / jargon you will actually trace the origins of in the remainder of the video.

Good clarity. It feels to me as a list of facts a bit too long. I would have prefered a shorter video about your 2 or 3 prefered etymologys.

It's cool but it's not particularly memorable because it reads as a list - easily digestable by a machine but alas I'm a fallible human

The pacing is too slow

overall a really interesting topic, but the audio needs some work - most of the time, the sound is only coming from the left ( + some background music would also make a big difference in my opinion)

Collection of all the origins of mathematical symbol is a great work, and properly explained too. Only a few suggestions like, putting a mild background music would help reducing the awkward silence a few times, and the audio is not active properly for both the ears, while using earphone.

Quality good, visuals slightly uneventful (this isn't necessarily bad thing!). The video is just quite long for the subject area, I think with more advanced terms the topic would be very interesting. Maybe go at a faster pace for the more basic concepts to allow for either a short basic video or have time for more advanced area of maths. (Eg: I'd love to have found out why a group is called a group or a ring is called a ring etc!)
