Summer of Math Exposition

Terrible humor. Powerpoint did not work out for me.

Fun concept and I personally enjoyed the style! However once we got a bit past the tiring machine slide I think it got a bit too abstract and fast…maybe it could have been an idea to show us a Turing machine example and then show us the resulting spell that comes out? That way it’s a bit more concrete!

The video tries to combine education and humorous entertainment, but its difficult to pull such a task.

For this particular video, it might have been better to go focus on the entertainment task, and assume the audience already knows what a turing machine is and basics of logic.

The eragon gimmick can be delivered in a much more humorous way if you cut out math exposition.

It’s difficult to know if this is meant to be more comedy or maths. Don’t get me wrong, the comedy is good. But I’m here for the math. Not a fan of narrated slideshows. Some animation would be nice. It really would help to explain the sequence of the machine
