If a student is already familiar with computer science or has played around A LOT on computers, I think they would be able to follow most of the content. However, there is a little bit of jargon that might go too fast for a high schooler (like glyph, raster, etc.). I think that a student also might not be completely motivated. Unless they know a lot about storage on computers, they might not understand the immense benefits of the vector data, so you could put some more examples to help illustrate that. BUT, I was engaged the whole time, so I think a student who is already interested in computers would be as well. They would definitely come away from the video knowing something new.

it feels like there just could be a little bit more math. video doesn’t really build suspense.

Great introduction to typography. The video makes me reflect on how much work there is into something we take for granted. Watching the video I got curious on why the “arabic number system” is written from left to right instead of from right to left, if arabic is written in the opposite direction (I never considered that question before). My only complain is that there is no math explanation in it, so perhaps you could’ve chosen a different theme for this contest.
