Summer of Math Exposition

I love the story intertwined with the actual mathematical bit of the video. However, I don’t think I understood the point of this video. My guess is it is being used to vindicate yourself that you had what it takes to take on baby Rudin, but it just felt like a regurgitation of fact with a bit of story. With that being said, I still found it interesting, and I appreciate your thoroughness and use of examples in the definitions and proof. Maybe 17 year old me would have been a better target audience, but I still found it a good watch.

There are a few serious mathematical inaccuracies in this video, but it was very engaging and has a good message. I thoroughly enjoyed watching!

Genuinely amazing; love that you managed to show the beauty but also terror and tedium that a lot of pure math is, while also sticking in some good advice for students. I love it.

Honestly i dont understood the whole thing but contrary i understood the parts now i am struggling how to combine what i just saw … :) it was a brainfreeze moment.

(Rather than extreme value theorem, I would have chosen the intemediate value theorem as an example for Q not being like R. But Ths story with the Rudin book is nice)

This video is amazing! Upbeat, witty, and insightful narration with quality animations. Your advice for incoming higher math students is spot-on, and I will happily pass on this video to folks who could benefit from it.

I really enjoyed the story. It’s very deep. Essentially the introduction is very good. The video can benefit if it can break down the things presented in Redemption by providing multiple examples in terms of the more abstract concepts. Great work.
