This video is a follow up to my previous video “How to Describe Circuit Impedance With Continued Fractions”. In this follow-up video, I’ll dive deeper into the behavior of harmonic resonance modes of ladder circuits. There are many interesting patterns to discover in these harmonic resonance modes, and these patterns can help us understand how resistance affects ladder circuits. The target audience is electrical engineers and math fans interested in continued fractions

You’re obviously very knowledgable on this topic, and the pair of part 1 and part 2 together are probably very cohesive. However, this is being shown to me here as part 2 only. I know there is a short recap at the start, so you’re treating it as a standalone (hence why I”m not flagging) but some of the derivations seemed a little rushed as a result. This made it a touch less satisfying that it would have been had I seen part 1 first, or if 1 and 2 had been amalgamated into a single long video (personal opinion, but I have no problem with long videos if it’s a good one, I’ll happily watch a three hour banger over a 3 minute mediocre explainer).

This was an interesting topic. Your first video seemed a bit more compelling to general audiences, which is to be expected. I feel like a lot of this video consisted of cool facts someone could notice, or even prove, without a lot of deep explanation for why or whether it’s surprising. To the right person, I’m sure this would be very compelling though.
