Summer of Math Exposition

Wow, this is hard to judge! A lot of skill and creativity on display, and I love the visuals, but I’m having a hard time imagining who would take away what lesson from this. I guess I can see it featuring on children’s TV or being played to elementary school students?

Great song, but misses the topic of a math explainer that could be used in class to help students who are struggling with a specific topic.

Very creative But not a great explainer.

This music video is creatively presented and done. I love the song, and it will be stuck in my head for a while, I’m sure of it! The video was stimulating, and matched the lyrics well. However, I feel that the video was not very educational, as the only information brought across were the names of the 5 platonic solids and some small facts about them.

Altogether a great entry!

Very cute song with references to Plato’s hypothesis that these represent elements. The main thing I will ding the score on is that it does not really teach anything new. The music is catchy, and the animation is great. I would love to see more songs like this

Not my style of music, but quite fun nonetheless. I am not sure what’s the point from a learning/education point of view, but clearly a lot of effort went into both the sound and the video and I really appreciate that.

This is so delightful, I love the “VHS tape of a laser show” aesthetic. I’m only giving it a 6 because I have no idea what educational value this has. I also think the love described in this song is not quite platonic.

Pros - I like the idea - get kids interested in the platonic solids. Cons - execution - music genre and particualry the voice chosen isn’t suitable for targeted audience. Possible/Likely violation of AI usage policy ( As far as my limited human cognition can tell ;) )

Strong novelty and memorability

Low on motivation and clarity.

It could grab attention in the classroom, but on the other hand kids might hate it.
