I think this is a genuinely pretty solid introduction to conditional probability! The video editting and the like also means that I think it’s particularly compelling as a video, which adds to its quality. The difference in language between the narration and text is somewhat confusing, so I do wonder if it would be better having two uploads (with text in each language), but otherwise this is very good!

Fun and engaging video! I loved the story at the start, grabbed my attention and related to the topic surprisingly well. The examples you gave were also very good, relevant, and well explained.

The “holy s**t” makes this less suitable for middle-school learning, at least here in the States. For older audiences it’s chuckle-worthy, but younger kids would absolutely laser focus on that and disrupt the classroom. Kids love making a big deal out of anything taboo.

The pacing felt mostly good, though i think the video would fail to establish intuition for why the formula works and it’s derivation. Also, the formulas and graphical elements should be translated to english.

Bayes theorem has always been hard for me to understand and explaining it in English with Cyrillic text examples might not make it easier.

I like the message that Bayes theorem helps us to not be deceived easily. However, the covid test example was a bit weird in my opinion and one should say that doctors typically do follow up tests to figure out if someone actually has a disease or not.

Furthermore, it is good to have example problems in the end, where people can test their understanding. Not sure if the solutions will be provided in another video, but since Bayes theorem can be hard to understand it would be good to provide the solutions in some way as well.

Also the theory vs practice quote is quite famous and it would be good to attribute it to the person who said it, if that is known.

Production feels soulless. Topic is pretty exhausted, and the text is not even in English so it’s confusing as someone who can’t read it
