Good clean layout

I was curious about whether human brain neurons mimic the activations in a basic artificial neural network. I also was curious about the graphs.

Sharing the code would make it preferable

Some motivation for the Hodgkin–Huxley model would make it easier to read. I really liked the diagrams but I felt there was no clear takeaway.

While the topic is very interesting, I was lacking structure in the text. It felt like one model after the other was presented without motivating well why the next model was needed. The first model is well described, but then the text is harder to follow in my opinion. For example, the potassium channel of a neuron is just mentioned on the side and I could only figure out which one it is because the text also mentioned that there is a power of four of the potassium channel. The figure could help the reader to understand concepts better are not well described and tied in to the whole story.

I believe that this article could be much better with a bit of editing and improving the flow of the text, since the topic itself is quite fascinating.
