Faking 3D graphics with a 2D game engine
A video explaining how to render 3D graphics using a 2D game engine.
Explains concepts such as perspective, isometric projection, rotation matrices, and shaders.
The viewer needs a basic understanding of linear algebra and geometry to follow through the video.

While this is an interesting video, there is not enough mathematics in it.

A very nice introduction (or reminder) of perspective. Vevy well explained.
Could be prolongated with other geometries involving non-linear tranformations.

Elegant, and 3D game graphics is something I'm particularly interested in. Game looks cute too.

fascinating topic and visuals but unfortunately the narration is quick and unclear (sorry i've old person ears) so the actual math exposition was completely lost even though i went back to watch it again. i recommend rerecording the narration and speaking a touch slower because the expository animations are fantastic

Some quite interesting maths here. I'd be careful about which level your video is aimed at though: In one part of your video, you explain that "matrix multiplication is different depending on the order of the matrixes" - a true statement, but one aimed at a beginner to linear algebra. Later, you very quickly move onto complex maitrix rotations without explaining anything about how they're used, for instance the matrix formula, even though it's a very powerful tool.
Equally, later you very quickly talk about the shaders used, without explaining what a gaussian blur is, or why it takes up extra computation - I felt this part of the video was a little rushed.
Overall, it's a very interesting video with very good graphics, but perhaps quite easy to get lost in.

Quite cool graphics

Awesome visuals!!

I think the visuals of the video are really nice. But the mathematical formulation could be explained in a bit more detail. Not because it's impossible to understand what the computations are doing, but mostly because showing each of the components of the formulas is doing, would deepen the knowledge of the viewer.

An interesting introduction to 3D graphics, however as a video on mathematics (specifically projective geometry) it isn't incredibly clear.

Beautiful video, really nice animations and great explanations. For me was clear the topic and very useful to understand what is done in computer graphics in order to compute 3 dimensional objects.
I wished you can show bits of the code, that sometimes it's interesting to the people that is learning about game dev. Also, you should continue this as a series of videos, because lighting and shadows it's an important part of how to simulate 3d figures.
