I decided it was about time to start learning to code AIs this summer, and then the competition notice for SoME came out so we did a little sidetracking.. I'm not sure the level of math needed for this is, but curious high-schoolers should probably be able to get it.

Overall, this is a well produced video, and the visuals are very nice. However, I think the target audience would have trouble assimilating all the information provided. There is an awful lot of technical information here and it all goes by at a very fast pace. I struggled to understand the big picture, and I suspect the target audience will too. Again, I’m quite impressed by the overall quality of the video, but I think more thought needs to go into trying to understand how the target audience will react to each segment of the video.

It is not clear what the author wants to achieve here : teach something, or show all he have done during the year.

I liked the visualisations. It made the huge amount of formulas in your submission easy to follow through.

There are some minor flaws that I would like to mention. Whenever you mention a new mathematical concept, introduced by some huge text, it seems that you made your own voice unrecognisable due to some sound effect which I found pretty annoying.

In your introduction: showing a huge bunch of codelines so small that nobody can read it, leaves the impression as if you’re trying to show off. It certainly doesn’t provide any benefit to the viewer.

The visualizations of the methods are nice. On the other hand, I feel like there are too many expressions shown on the screen with no clear purpose or payoff. It doesn’t seem like the viewer is supposed to follow the manipulations being done, so why are they being shown? Overall, I don’t think this provides any real insight into these methods beyond the typical explanations one might encounter.
