This is absolutely breathtaking. I’m a programmer that’s interested in physics, and this is beautiful. It’s fascinating to look at programs as miniature worlds, and the way you did these illustrate this concept nicely. I think that having a follow up video that showcases what these simulations do, exactly (for example, how the probabilities work for the double slit experiment) would be an amazing addition.
The visuals are spectacular as well. The music is also incredible, and you have a gift for composing. Very well done.
Modelling a quantum particle as a cellular automaton is novel idea to me. There was no explanation for where the Schrödinger update rule comes from, or indeed for representing the probability amplitude as a complex number in the first place. Nevertheless, the video was engaging and well-presented, with beautiful visualization.
