Summer of Math Exposition

Nice thought! I love how this encourages derivation and critical thinking over rot-learning. You derived these really well. I think the language could have been a little better. Assuming the target audience is middle school students, a lot of them don't like algebra. Naming sides a and b is ok. But the demonstration could've been better if it wasn't so algebraic. I do not mean sides should not be named. They should. But every once in a while, do refer to the actual object/side when you are demonstrating. "A = (x+y)/2, so x+y..., where x is ..." can be directly referred to as "The area is half of the sum of these 2 sides". Overall though, a good job! It's a great video for people well acquainted with algebra. I'm sure most 3B1B viewers are haha. But yes, in the context of the audience that would be interested in such a topic, I would say the algebra could have gone over people's heads.

The problem being tackled here is really good. The animations are quite professional and smooth too.
