Lovely animation style; erasing tiles once they are visited! Overall, I would have wished for a bit more explanations of the presented effects, though.
The patterns were very pretty, but I was expecting an explanation on how to produce different patterns in different ways, rather than a collection of tours. I wouldn’t say I didn’t like the video, but I don’t think it brings up anything too new.

This is a really beautiful video. I will be very curious to see how it does in the voting. Although it ends with the words “Think critically, do Maths Take Care” If we really think critically this video does not teach us to do Maths.
The obvious question of how to go about constructing a knights tour is not addressed. There is no attempt to even vaguely describe the sentence: “Compute the total number of open knights tours” . Is it a computer search or a Mathematical formula or computation.
Overall very interesting but not particularly explanatory.
In terms of the four criteria: Definitely high in novelty and memorability, but lacking motivation other than, these look really cool. Definitely vividly clear.
The video is somewhat of a surface level look at the topic, but that is done well. I think I would have liked to see more exploration into the theory around knights tours, like how we are able to understand things about them. But this wasn’t that sort of video, and I think the pace and visuals make it quite a good example of the sort of video it is trying to be.
Nice video! Hard to fault it, I think it did a good job of what it set out to do. But as said at the start — more for entertainment than education :)
Fun little exploration.
This was in interesting video, especially since I am not playing chess and didn’t know about the problem before. The graphics are also quite beautiful.
While it was stated in the beginning that this is more to entertain than to educate, after some time I felt like the tours looked all very similar. So, in my opinion the video could have been shorter, but I also understand that it was interesting to mention all the famous mathematicians that worked on the problem, Furthermore, it would be good to state the problem right in the beginning because it took around 50 seconds before the actual problem was stated, while I heard information about Donald Knuth and George Jelliss
really like the animations and I was really invested really hated the fact that mirror symmetry ins’t perfect. G.Jellis(1986) his special sequence of square of natural numbers looks like bird without a head.
