Set Theory Part 1: Logic

Despite the title, this is the second video of a series, but it should be possible to follow without having seen the first video. In the last video, we saw intuitively what sets are, but didn’t specify the defining rules for sets. In this video, we establish the language we’ll use to precisely define these rules: the language of logic, which is also the language used to prove mathematical statements.

It says "Part 1" of the series so can't wait to see where one will bring us to.

The video is technically well made and also the explanation style is satisfactory. However a number of new definitions like propositions, terms, predicates are introduced without clarification, what are they good for. Some concrete examples would be very helpful.

I think that whilst this video starts with some nice examples, there should be more throughout the rest of the video. At least for me it’s much easier to understand propositional logic with some well chosen examples. The rules for combining logical expressions were made to formalise a body of concrete examples after all!

Not a new member of Bourbaki group, I am not a fan of this video although it may help people far from high scholl math although the end is too far away from reality reference (pure math)

It doesn't feel like there's much motivation for this video. It might be good within the mentioned playlist/context, but it felt out of place as a SOME entry.
