Great production quality and clearly structured. While there aren’t many exciting “aha” moments comparing to some other videos for SOME4, it is certainly a good visualization tool / supplemental video for middle school/high school physics classes. While the video is not that “mathy”, I appreciate the author’s effort to cover important foundations.

Yes, the visuals were good illustrations for the teaching value for a high-school class.

The explanation is clear and it demonstrates how to calculate torque. But I think it’s lacking quite a lot. For example, at no point is the term “cross product” used, or angular momentum, angular kinetic energy and how torque affects them.

I am astonished that the explanation works so well without a single mention of the vector product. But I still think that by using the vector product in the explanation would result in a better understanding of the topic, because everything becomes so much clearer, especially angled forces. You even have the right starting point already in the video: Forces as vectors. Now just make the distance a vector too and the torque is jsut the vector product of the two.
