Summer of Math Exposition

Interestingly made. But it underperforms a bit expectation wise.

Genuinely interesting, but not very mathy :-) I keep grading things as about the same, because they'll all equally good. Really liked the history embedded into this one. But there's a risk that taking the prop newspaper seriously may have been a step too far - I'd want to verify that with a prop-maker that the date you're relying on really was a date they intentionally placed there, and that it didn't get out of sync as the film was cut and edited.

If we’re going for pedantry, the second syllable of “Schwarzschild” should be pronounced more like “shield”, not like “child”.

Wesome video man, great jokes Please decrease the music volume, it gets distracting and hard to hear the speech The editing at the beginning felt a bit weird where your face showed up for just seconds and the lips didn't seem synced, maybe just have clips in that part Definitely very pedantic and the sudden jump into math details and jargon was a bit off-putting. Some people like hearing about the nitty gritty details but this part is not really intelligible to even most stem college graduates. Title and first half of the video feel a bit overdramatic, it's really two very minor nitpicks and the video made them sound like they'd be huge holes. What you could do is lean into it and act more intentionally parodyish or dramatic, but up to you. Unfortunately feel the parts I enjoyed the most were the least math related aspects of the video, so my score doesn't reflect how I feel about the video as a whole but feel I should evaluate more on the math side

Good video but not for a math video contest

This whole video seems to be a quibble about the notation used in one scene of the movie Oppenheimer. I suppose it is impressive that the author figured this out but it doesn’t really interest me.

The topic was cool and I love being pendantic. However, as someone who doesn't know much physics at all, I felt like the details about the formulas were unnecessary and confusing. Also the newspaper date thing was kinda confusing as well, I think it could be explained better. I thought the scene was in September 1939 and Oppenheimer is handed a newspaper where is says that Hitler attacked Poland. So how can the newspaper be from July 1938, I think I got confused.

A little bit too much filler without any real information otherwise great video
